In their recent Serie A clash against Monza, Napoli were unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a goalless draw. However, they were fortunate not to suffer defeat as Matteo Pessina missed a second-half penalty for the visitors.

The first half of the match was relatively uneventful, with both teams struggling to create scoring opportunities. However, Napoli began to dominate play as the game progressed. The decision was somewhat fortunate as Juan Jesus unintentionally handled a shot from substitute Andrea Colpani. Fortunately for Napoli, Alex Meret made a comfortable save from Pessina’s weak penalty kick.

With this draw, Napoli currently sit in seventh place in the Serie A standings, while Monza find themselves in 11th position.
