Bologna squandered a three-goal advantage as Juventus managed to secure an unexpected draw in Serie A.

Juventus staged a remarkable comeback to salvage a 3-3 draw against Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium, keeping their hopes alive for a third-placed finish in Serie A.

The match started disastrously for Juventus as Bologna raced to a 2-0 lead within the first 11 minutes, with goals from Riccardo Calafiori and debutant Santiago Castro.

Paolo Montero, who took charge of Juventus after the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri, must have been concerned as his team looked sluggish and off the pace. Bologna continued their dominance and extended their lead to 3-0 in the 53rd minute, with Calafiori scoring his second goal of the night.

However, Juventus refused to be humiliated and launched an incredible comeback in the final minutes of the game. In just eight minutes, Federico Chiesa, Arkadiusz Milik, and Kenan Yildiz found the back of the net to secure a draw for their team.

With one game remaining, Bologna remains in third place, ahead of Juventus on goal difference. Bologna will conclude their thrilling season, which saw them qualify for the UEFA Champions League for only the second time in their history, with a match against Genoa. Meanwhile, Juventus will host Monza in their final fixture.
