Liverpool finalize the acquisition of Jeremie Frimpong to take the place of the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool have officially announced the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, marking a significant addition to their squad.

The Premier League champions have activated the player’s release clause, reported to be around €35 million (£29.6 million).

Frimpong, 24, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the club.
