Disastrous performance from Man Utd as Forest secures a memorable victory at Old Trafford.

**Nottingham Forest Stuns Manchester United with Thrilling 3-2 Victory at Old Trafford**

In a dramatic encounter at Old Trafford, Nottingham Forest handed Manchester United and their manager Ruben Amorim a second consecutive defeat, clinching a remarkable 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon. The result leaves United languishing in 13th place, while Forest’s impressive performance propels them into the top five, just two points shy of the coveted top four.

The visitors wasted no time in asserting their dominance, opening the scoring within just two minutes. Nikola Milenkovic rose above the United defence to head home from a corner, marking his first goal for the club. This goal also highlighted a worrying trend for United, who have now conceded from three corners in as many games.

Despite the early setback, United showed resilience and responded with intent. After 15 minutes of relentless pressure, they found their equaliser. Rasmus Hojlund was in the right place at the right time, poking home the rebound from Alejandro Garnacho’s close-range effort, much to the relief of the home crowd.

The first half saw both teams come close to taking the lead, with Jota Silva and Bruno Fernandes both hitting the woodwork. However, they headed into the break with the scoreline locked at 1-1.

The second half began in a similar fashion to the first, with Forest striking early once again. Morgan Gibbs-White wrong-footed United goalkeeper Andre Onana with a powerful strike from outside the box, restoring Forest’s lead just two minutes after the restart.

Things went from bad to worse for United as Forest extended their advantage seven minutes later. Chris Wood, now the club’s all-time top Premier League scorer, looped a header back across goal from a cross, leaving Onana bewildered as it nestled into the opposite corner of the net.

United, however, were not ready to throw in the towel. Amad Diallo played a crucial role in their response, setting up Bruno Fernandes, who unleashed a powerful strike to pull a goal back for the home side.

With the momentum shifting, United pushed hard for a second equaliser, but Forest’s defence held firm, securing a vital three points. The victory not only boosts Forest’s aspirations for European football but also raises questions about United’s form as they continue to struggle in the league.
