Visitors narrowly secure victory in the Premier League thanks to an early brace from Rasmus Hojlund.

Rasmus Hojlund, the rising star of Manchester United, made history as he became the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games. His remarkable feat came during United’s crucial 2-1 victory over struggling Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The 21-year-old Danish forward wasted no time in making an impact, finding the back of the net in under 40 seconds. Taking advantage of Amari’i Bell’s mistake, Hojlund skillfully rounded Thomas Kaminski and calmly slotted the ball home. This early goal set the tone for the match.

Hojlund wasn’t finished yet, as he doubled his tally just seven minutes later. Showing great awareness and technique, he chested home Alejandro Garnacho’s volley to give United a comfortable lead.

However, Luton Town fought back and dominated the rest of the first half. Carlton Morris became the first Hatters player to score in three consecutive Premier League matches, heading in a goal on the 14th minute. United found themselves under pressure and were fortunate to end the half with all 11 players on the pitch, as Casemiro escaped a second caution for a late challenge on the impressive Ross Barkley.

After regrouping during the interval, United had several opportunities to extend their lead. Bruno Fernandes, Garnacho, and Hojlund all had clear chances but failed to convert. Meanwhile, Luton struggled to create any significant openings to salvage a point.

This victory marks United’s fifth consecutive win in all competitions, a feat they haven’t achieved in over a year. It also brings them within three points of Tottenham and five points off Aston Villa in the race for a Champions League spot.

On the other hand, Luton Town’s form continues to decline, with just one win in their last six league matches. They currently sit 17th in the table, only one point above the relegation zone.

Looking ahead, Luton’s survival hopes face a daunting challenge as they travel to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Manchester United will host Fulham on Saturday, aiming to maintain their winning streak and secure their place among the top teams in the Premier League.
