Vinicius ignites Real Madrid’s comeback for an away victory in the Las Palmas match, securing a 2-1 win.

Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior was the hero of the match as he celebrated with his teammate Eduardo Camavinga after scoring the team’s first goal in their hard-fought 2-1 victory over UD Las Palmas. The win propelled Real Madrid to the top of the Liga table.

The first half of the match was characterized by more fouls than chances, with Rodrygo receiving an early booking for a clash with goalkeeper Alvaro Velles. Vinicius Jr had the best opportunities for Los Blancos, forcing Velles into a good save with a lob attempt and coming close with a low drive from distance. Las Palmas also created some decent chances, with Sergi Cardona missing the target with a first-time strike in the box.

The second half started with Las Palmas on the attack, and they came close to scoring when Alberto Moleiro’s shot was well saved by Andriy Lunin. However, a few minutes later, Sandro Ramirez set up Javier Munoz to score from close range on a counter-attack.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti made some substitutions, bringing on Federico Valverde and Joselu. It was Valverde’s through ball that set up Vinicius for the equalizer 12 minutes later. Ancelotti then introduced Guler and Tchouameni, with the latter making an immediate impact by heading in Toni Kroos’s corner to secure the victory.

Real Madrid rode their luck in the match, as Las Palmas had more shots on target and dominated large parts of the game with their counter-attacking style. The Yellows also had a strong penalty appeal turned down in the first half. However, Real Madrid were clinical when it mattered and capitalized on their chances.

Vinicius Jr was named the Player of the Match for his constant threat with his pace and trickery. Despite missing earlier opportunities, he continued to make ghosting runs into the box and eventually found the back of the net for the equalizer.

Player ratings for Las Palmas included standout performances from Valles, Munoz, and Ramirez. For Real Madrid, Lunin, Vinicius Jr, and Camavinga received high ratings.

In the match highlights, Garcia came close for Real Madrid with a low shot, Sandro missed connecting with a low cross, Munoz scored for Las Palmas, Vinicius Jr equalized for Real Madrid, and Tchouameni sealed the victory with a header from a corner.
