Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract with Liverpool, putting an end to the uncertainty surrounding his future. He expressed his excitement about the development.

In a significant development for Liverpool FC, Mohamed Salah has put an end to months of speculation regarding his future by signing a new contract with the club.

The 32-year-old Egyptian forward was one of three pivotal players, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who were set to become free agents this summer. However, Salah’s decision to extend his stay at Anfield comes as a major boost for the Reds, especially given his outstanding form this season.

Expressing his excitement, Salah stated, “Of course, I’m very excited. We have a great team now. Before also we had a great team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football.”

He continued, “It’s great, I had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully it’s going to be 10. Enjoying my life here, enjoying my football. I had the best years in my career.”

Salah also took a moment to address the fans, saying, “I would like to say to the fans, I am very, very happy to be here. I signed here because I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. Keep supporting us and we’ll give it our best, and hopefully in the future we’re going to win more trophies.”

Liverpool originally signed Salah from Roma for £34 million in 2017, and he has since become a key figure in the squad. His remarkable debut season saw him score 32 goals in the Premier League, and he has maintained an impressive tally of at least 18 goals in every season since.
