Reflecting on the team’s performance, he mentioned that statistically, Arsenal should have won the title based on their achievements over the past 11 months. However, he acknowledged that there were aspects that they did not manage as well as Manchester City or other successful clubs.

The manager highlighted the small margins that separate success from failure and stressed the importance of finding those extra percentages to win major trophies. He expressed confidence in the team’s consistency and performance levels but acknowledged the need to make those small adjustments to achieve tournament victories.

Arteta revealed that the players immediately shifted their focus to the next season after their final game against Everton. The team was already discussing plans for the future and how they could surpass Manchester City. He emphasized the club’s shared vision and their determination to achieve it.

Regarding his own future at Arsenal, Arteta stated that there were no updates at the moment. However, he expressed his happiness, feeling valued, and love for representing the club. He believes that their strong relationship will prevent any issues from arising. He mentioned that discussions about improving the team and the transfer window would take place in due course.

Currently, Arteta is in Marbella, Spain, with nine players who are not involved in Euro 2024 or the Copa America. Arsenal will soon begin their pre-season preparations in the United States, culminating in a match against Manchester United in Los Angeles on July 27.
