Marcus Rashford Urges End to Speculation on Future Following Absence from Manchester United’s Premier League Victory at Fulham
Marcus Rashford, the talented forward for Manchester United, has called for an end to speculation surrounding his future after being absent from the team’s recent victory against Fulham. This incident initially appeared to create a rift between player and manager, reminiscent of the situation involving Jadon Sancho, who has been excluded from the first-team squad at Old Trafford. However, it has now been clarified that Rashford’s absence was due to injury rather than any disciplinary issues.
In response to a tweet from The United Stand account questioning his future, Rashford took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to express his frustration, stating, “Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.” Last season, Rashford showcased his prowess by scoring an impressive 30 goals, contributing to United’s progress under manager Ten Hag in his debut season. However, this term has seen a decline in both Rashford’s form and the overall performance of the club.
Following their triumph at Craven Cottage, Ten Hag’s side has climbed to eighth place in the Premier League standings.
