Manchester United is prepared to sell Scott McTominay and Casemiro in order to finance the transfer of Manuel Ugarte.

United prepare to fund Ugarte deal

Manchester United are making preparations to secure the funds needed for the potential transfer of Manuel Ugarte. In order to raise the necessary funds, United are considering letting go of midfielders Casemiro and Scott McTominay.

According to the Daily Mail, United have already agreed on personal terms with Ugarte. However, a deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has not been finalized. PSG is demanding a fee of £59 million for the midfielder, and United will need to meet this asking price before the transfer can proceed.

To make room in their squad and budget for Ugarte, United have identified Casemiro and McTominay as potential candidates to be sold. Casemiro, a 32-year-old Brazilian, and McTominay, a 27-year-old Scottish player, could be sacrificed to facilitate Ugarte’s arrival.

United ready for Antony departure

Manchester United are open to letting Antony leave on loan if a suitable offer is made. The Brazilian winger has failed to impress in the past two seasons, and the Mirror reports that United would be willing to let him go if another club is willing to cover his wages.

Antony was signed by United in 2022 for a hefty fee of £86 million. However, he has struggled to justify this price tag during his time at the club. While United are prepared to sanction a loan move for Antony, previous reports suggested that the club was considering cutting their losses and selling him outright as part of a summer clear-out.

West Ham keen on Kante return

West Ham United are showing interest in bringing N’Golo Kante back to the Premier League following his impressive performances in Euro 2024. Kante is currently playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, but the Telegraph reports that West Ham could potentially lure him back to England.

The extent of West Ham’s interest is still in the early stages, and it remains to be seen what kind of fee would be required to secure Kante’s services. The 33-year-old midfielder’s contract with Al-Ittihad runs until 2026. West Ham is aiming to make four or five new signings this summer to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Fulham move on hold for Andre

Fulham’s pursuit of Fluminense midfielder Andre has hit a roadblock as they search for a replacement for Joao Palhinha. The London club has yet to respond to negotiations from the Brazilian side, according to the Evening Standard.

Andre has been a long-standing target for Fulham, and the club has been in regular contact with Fluminense. However, negotiations have stalled as Fulham looks to fill the void left by Palhinha, who recently joined Bayern Munich in a £47.5 million deal. Fluminense values Andre at around £25 million, but Fulham has not yet responded to their counter-offer.
