Manchester United are looking to offload players in order to make room for the signings of Marc Guehi and Max Kilman.
United plan defensive swoops
Manchester United are reportedly planning to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window with the signings of two defenders and a forward. Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi and Wolves’ Max Kilman are the defensive targets, while a replacement for Anthony Martial will also be sought.
To fund these moves, it is believed that almost every player at Old Trafford is up for sale if the right offer comes in. The club is looking to offload unwanted players in order to make room for new signings. However, financial restrictions may make it difficult for United to completely overhaul their underperforming squad.
Ajax want Ten Hag
There are rumors that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is being targeted by his former club Ajax. However, Ajax may only be able to secure his signature if he is sacked by United. Ten Hag enjoyed a successful spell with Ajax between 2017 and 2022, and the Dutch side is keen to bring him back.
Chelsea set to lose Gallagher
Chelsea could potentially lose Conor Gallagher this summer as talks over a new contract have not progressed. The 24-year-old midfielder is set to enter the final year of his contract and several clubs are interested in signing him. Mauricio Pochettino wants Gallagher to stay at Chelsea, but the lack of a breakthrough in contract negotiations has given other clubs hope of securing his services.
Brentford chase former Arsenal forward
Brentford and QPR are both interested in signing Leicester academy forward Amani Richards. The 19-year-old, who has previously been part of Chelsea and Arsenal’s youth setups, is out of contract this summer and will be available on a free transfer. Richards, who can play as a striker or on the right wing, could return to London after his time at Leicester. Sunderland and clubs in Germany, Belgium, and Denmark are also interested in signing him.
