Jude Bellingham talks about the speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s potential transfer to Real Madrid.

Jude Bellingham, fresh off his European Cup victory with Real Madrid, couldn’t help but think about the potential arrival of Kylian Mbappe. After the match, Bellingham spoke to TNT Sports about the persistent rumors linking the French striker to Madrid this summer. While he didn’t confirm anything, Bellingham expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing alongside Mbappe.

“If that was to happen, it would be amazing,” Bellingham said.

Bellingham also highlighted Mbappe’s specific qualities, noting that Madrid missed his skills during their recent win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final. He emphasized that having a clinical striker like Mbappe would greatly benefit the team.

“A player like him..you see tonight I think it’s the only little thing that maybe we’re missing in terms of that clinical nine and I think if he was to come and give us that, we’d be in a really, really great place,” Bellingham explained.

Currently, Madrid’s only true center forward is Joselu, who is on loan from Espanyol. While Joselu has his own strengths, Bellingham believes that Mbappe’s addition would take the team to another level.

“He’d take us to another level,” Bellingham stated.

Considering Madrid’s recent success in the Champions League, the idea that they could still improve is a daunting prospect for their rivals. Bellingham acknowledged that Mbappe is “one of the best players in the world, clearly.”

Mbappe had an outstanding season, scoring 44 goals in 48 games before announcing his departure from Paris Saint-Germain. He leaves PSG with an impressive record of 256 goals, 96 assists, and 15 trophies. Prior to his time in Paris, Mbappe helped AS Monaco win the Ligue 1 title.

On the international stage, Mbappe won the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 Nations League. He also reached the World Cup final again in 2022. With 46 goals and 27 assists, Mbappe has already matched Pele’s record of 12 World Cup goals. At just 25 years old, he is only four goals away from Miroslav Klose’s all-time record.

If Mbappe joins Real Madrid this summer, he would fill the void left by the departure of Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema in 2023. Real Madrid has a history of helping their players win the prestigious individual award, and Mbappe could be the next in line.

Overall, the potential addition of Mbappe to Real Madrid has generated excitement among players like Bellingham, who believe that it would elevate the team to new heights.
