Cole Palmer scored on his first full debut as England defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 in a warm-up match for Euro 2024.

England got off to a winning start in their Euro 2024 warm-up games, defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 in Newcastle. The victory was sealed with two late goals, a superb volley from Trent-Alexander Arnold and a close-range shot from Harry Kane.

However, despite the scoreline, England’s overall performance was rather lackluster. The first half was particularly uneventful, with Ollie Watkins having the best opportunity for England. His turn and shot was well saved by Bosnia and Herzegovina’s goalkeeper, Nikola Vaselj.

It wasn’t until the 60th minute that England finally managed to break the deadlock. Cole Palmer stepped up to convert a penalty after Ezri Konsa was fouled. This goal provided the much-needed breakthrough for England.

Looking ahead, England’s final warm-up game will be against Iceland at Wembley on Friday. This match will serve as the last opportunity for the team to fine-tune their tactics and preparations before the Euro 2024 tournament kicks off.
