Brazil secured a late victory at Wembley with a 1-0 win over England, thanks to Endrick scoring his first international goal as a substitute.

Southgate has denied any talk of a rift with Arsenal defender Ben White after he was snubbed for the England squad. The teenage sensation, Endrick, stole the show as Brazil handed England a blow in their preparations for Euro 2024 with a 1-0 victory at Wembley.

Coach Dorival Junior made his debut in charge of the Selecao and fielded five debutants in the starting XI. It was an end-to-end first half with Brazil creating the better chances. The hosts improved in the second half but struggled to create clear-cut chances. Their lack of cutting edge was punished when the 17-year-old substitute, Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid in the summer, scored from a rebound with just 10 minutes remaining.

Overall, it was a disappointing result for England as they continue their preparations for Euro 2024. Southgate will need to address the team’s attacking issues before the tournament begins.
